Mclaren Misses Glasgow’s Bridgend Battle

A back injury will keep James McLaren out of Glasgow’s team for the Welsh/Scottish League match against Bridgend at Hughenden on Wednesday (10
April).
The international centre was injured while he was playing for Scotland against Wales at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday.
Richie Dixon, Glasgow’s head coach, expects McLaren to be available for the
league match against Neath at The Gnoll on Saturday. “Jim’s injury is clearing up well,” the coach explained today, “but Wednesday is just too
soon for him.”
However, Gordon Bulloch, the hooker who scored Scotland’s two tries in the
Cardiff international match, will be available for selection for Wednesday’s
match. So will the three other Glasgow players who appeared against Wales –
Jason White, Jon Petrie, and Glenn Metcalfe.
