Wru Statement

‘The WRU holds no prejudice against any of its players and all are welcome to play and enjoy the game of rugby football regardless of gender, race, religion or sexuality. In fact the WRU actively promotes equality and equal opportunity at all levels of the game in Wales.
Women and Girls rugby in particular has made significant progress in recent years and the WRU is keen to maintain its development. Comments such as those made can only do harm to a game which is trying its best to provide sporting opportunities for young Welsh girls and women.’
