Swansea’s end of season purple patch ended at Hughendon despite a 10 point opening burst.
Gavin Henson opened the scoring with a penalty and then converted a try by Wales centre Mark Taylor.
But a 50 metre run in from scrum half Ken Sinclair got Glasgow in the mood and wing Jon Steel and back ro wman Jon Petrie followed suit.
The boot of Tommy Hayes made the major difference, however, as he helped himself to 19 points with five penalties and two conversions.
