Following the two successive victories against Germany and Italy, Wales will be looking to make it a hat trick of wins at the Santboiana Stadium to come home with 9th place from the Women’s Rugby World Cup in Barcelona.
With the Samoans expected to be their usual aggressive and physical selves,
Wales have selected their strongest available pack with Clare Donovan coming
in to the second row for April Dent who moves to No 8 with Jackie Morgan
reverting to the bench.
Ronnie Owens makes her first start of the tournament at scrum half with Cath
Walkley on the bench.
Having lost their opening game to Australia, the highest Wales can finish is
9th and victory tomorrow will ensure Wales return home with their highest ever finish in a World Cup.
It is the last game in charge for national coach John Williams and no doubt the girls will want his two years in charge to end on a high. The game kicks off at 5.30 (GMT)
