Womens Super League 2002/3

Training is set to begin this weekend for the second ‘Super League’ series in Wales. Based on a provincial set up, the WWRU are looking tho build on the success of last years competition by bringing 2 new teams – Swansea and UWIC – on board to go with last seasons squads based at Llanelli, Newport, Pontypridd and in North Wales.

This competition is the only means of selection for any Welsh team and with many top Welsh internationals playing in England they will all be returning to play both with and against home based talent.
