Glasgow ran in five tries to strengthen their position at the top of Pool B in the Celtic League and make it four out of four.
The centre pairing of Allan Bulloch and Tommy Hayes caused Bridgend no end of misery as they accounted for 31 of the home side’s points.
Bulloch ran in two tries while Hayes helped himself to 21 points. Bridgend, who had hooker Gareth Williams sent to the sin-bin in the second half, simply had no answer to the Scottish assault.
It took Glasgow only two minutes to open their account when Scottish international Glenn Metcalfe crossed for a try that launched his side’s third successive victory over Welsh opposition.
One of Bulloch’s tries was an interception and back row man Gordon Simpson and scrum half Graeme Beverdige got the others.
Bridgend grabbed a consolation try at the death.
