Principality Cup Round 2 Round-up.

Included among the 32 winners from Round Two of the Principality Cup are Trefil and Bala, who represent the last Welsh Districts and North Wales clubs respectively.

Trefil have already hammered National League clubs Crymych, Cilfynydd and BP Llandarcy, while Bala have had two walk-overs as part of their three successes.

Felinfoel can look with satisfaction at their run so far, having won at Seven Sisters (former cup semi-finalists), then away again to Districts Cup holders Blackwood Stars and away yet again to Cwmgwrach.

Last season’s Division 7 East winners Fairwater will be a force, especially at home, but it was away that they defeated both Porthcawl and Llandudno.

With the 16 Division Two clubs now coming into Round Three, there will 24 ties played on November 2nd and none of the 47 other clubs will want to be drawn away to Penygraig, who have come through three rounds successfully and look likely to go much further.

Purely on scores, Waunarlwydd are the most successful team this season, having notched up 62,105 and 57 in three home ties, with the century of points having been scored against St Alban’s without reply.

Also reaching the century was Llanishen in their 110-7 victory over Welshpool in the Preliminary Round. They followed with a 20-13 win at Crumlin, but then fell to Risca by 21-17.
