Wales Under 21’s produced a fantastic display to beat New Zealand Under 21’s 28 – 7 at the Arms Park.
Star of the show was Cardiff outside half Nicky Robinson, his kicking ability and vision helped to show that Wales has strength in depth in the No. 10 position.
Neath prop Paul James scored the opening try which Robinson converted. Robinson was involved in the second Wales try, his chip was gathered by Pontypridd wing Mathew Nuthall who scored in the corner.
For the third score, Robinson’s timely pass to Pontypridd prop Ashley Copic unlocked the New Zealand defence, and although Wales conceded a try from Bronson Murray, Wales had the last laugh with a score from Llanelli full back Mathew Phillips.
