Should it be Iestyn Harris, the former rugby league ‘Man of Steel’ from 1998, or Pontypridd’s precocious young talent Ceri Sweeney?
Votes have been split virtually down the middle, but it seems that Iestyn is favored, But despite the poll being very close, most of the comments posted on the wru.co.uk messageboard have come out in favor of Harris
Here are some of your views…
Neil Lewis thinks: “Iestyn deserves an opportunity, and Italy is the right game for him to gain some confidence at controlling the game.”
Matt of Cardiff agrees: “I feel that this is the ideal opportunity to give Harris some international game time.”
Ray Smith also has confidence in the Cardiff player. “Against Italy Iestyn can’t fail to shine providing the pack can do their Job.”
Neil from Cardiff says: “Wales must start with Iestyn not because Ceri Sweeney is inexperienced but personally thank at the moment he offers a lot more than Ceri does I’ve watched Ceri a few times this season and he is going to be great outside half he has that some thing special”

And Chris from Neath has faith in Iestyn “I am happy to see Iestyn Harris starting the game at No10, he is a world class player, I have been critical of his choice of position in the past, but he has been playing behind a beaten pack for most of the season, and playing well, I believe he will shine in Rome!”
But Dyl doesn’t agree “I’m very worried about starting with Iestyn Harris!!”
Some support for the Pontypridd No.10 comes from ‘Bjr’, he says: “I predict Sweeney will become an automatic choice in years to come and end up with about 50 caps!”
‘Rhys the Jack’ backs Harris this time round. He thinks it’s not only Iestyn that Ceri is going to have to fight with for the number 10 shirt “Defiantly Iestyn!!! Ceri’s still young, I’m sure he’ll be great in the future but he’s going to have a big fight for the No.10 shirt with Gavin Henson in years to come!”
