Henson will start at No.10 as Wales travel to Nimes in the final game of the Under-21 Six Nations championship. (kick-off 7:00pm)
Henson, capped twice in 2001, will be the only full international on the park and Davey praised Henson, saying: “He is my number one kicker.”
Unbeaten Wales sit on top of the table and will be going all-out to bring the Grand Slam home.
However, defeat could still see them take the title – France would need to record huge victory for either Ireland or England to steal the title from under Wales’ nose.
The coach makes just one change to the starting line-up from the side defeated Ireland 20-19 at Ebbw Vale last week.
Richie Pugh is brought in for Robin Sowden-Taylor at flanker. And there are also changes on the replacements bench, with Gareth Delve and John Lewis both included.
‘We are very confident about the match, though France are much better at home than they are on the road,” said Davey.
