Bridgend Remain Unbeaten

Bridgend made it eight out of eight in the Welsh Premiership on Wednesday night, with a 78-5 hammering of a weakened Caerphilly side at Virginia Park.
Matt James, bound for French club Bourgoin next season, scored a hat-trick of tries with Paul Jones, Craig Richards and promising young centre David Bishop each getting a brace. Former All Black Simon Mannix scored a try and added six conversions.
James Kestall bagged Caerphilly’s only points as coach Mark Ring rested his first team in preparation for Saturday’s PARKER PEN SHIELD semi-final against Petrarca Padova.
