James Signs For Bourgoin
Bridgend’s Matt James has confirmed he will play for French outfit Bourgoin next season after completing his transfer from the Brewery Field.
The Wales A full-backhas agreed a one-year deal with the French outfit with an option to extend for another season.
The move coincides with Pontypridd’s signing of Kevin Morgan who will now be favourite for the number 15 jersey for the new Ponty-Bridgend province next season.
“This is a great opportunity for me to play at a high level of club rugby in good weather and in front of big crowds in the French first division,” said James.
“I’ve always admired the French game and I think I will thrive in those conditions. I’m certain it will help improve and develop me as a player.
“I’m still young and this is a phenomenal opportunity to broaden my experience. It was a chance to do something different that I just couldn’t turn down.”
