Pontypridd saw off Llanelli with a five-point victory over the Scarlets at a rain soaked Sardis Road.
In the last ever game Pontypridd will play at at the House of Pain under their current guise, the home side went out with a bang, by beating the defending Welsh champions.
Neil Jenkins was once again the chief destroyer, bagging nineteen points from his tried and tested right boot.
The visitors ouscored their hosts by three tries to two, but it was Jenkins’ four penalty goals, and a dropped goal which proved decisive.
