But rather than just churning out the clichés, Hansen’s point is that the time he has left with the squad is invaluable and he intends to use every minute of it.
“Everything we do from day to day is leading us forward towards the World Cup and we are using the time we have,” said Hansen.
“We have targeted the start of the tournament as a time when we will be ready and every day before then is a good day.
“There’s no point getting butterflies about what may be around the corner, we just need to put the work in and make sure we are prepared.
“Training is going well, it’s very hot and humid out here and everyone is working very hard. We are going through a few game plans and certain things we’ll want to do against each team, but we have enough versatility in the squad team to make it possible for us to react to most things.”
