At Rodney Parade, the Gwent Dragons’ resurgence continued with a comfortable29-6 victory over champions Munster – the first time the Irish heavyweights had been held tryless this season and their biggest Celtic League defeat ever.
Outside-half Craig Warlow kicked 19 points to complement tries to forwards Jamie Ringer and Adam Black, while captain Jason Forster was everywhere in a man-of-the-match performance.
The Celtic Warriors chalked up another defeat, this time at the hands of Ulster. The Irish side are now second in the table after their fourth win in five starts, while the Warriors slipped to seventh after the 26-20 loss, despite an Emyr Lewis try and 15 points from the trusty boot of veteran Neil Jenkins.
Gary Ella’s Leinster finally recorded a win this season with a 21-6 result over fellow Irish side Connacht, while Borders are still anchoring the table after a nail-biting 26-25 loss to countrymen Glasgow.

Saturday’s match saw the Scarlets return to winning ways following two defeats in a row. They stopped a resurgent Blues in their tracks, chalking up a 35-20 victory at Stradey Park to push them up to third place.
