Hugh is a great fan of Welsh Rugby and so it was with great pleasure that the Welsh Rugby Union was able to arrange for current Wales International Michael Owen, who is missing the Rugby World Cup through a pre-tournament training injury, to be able to present Hugh with the award.
Hugh was awarded a VIP Conducted tour of the Millennium Stadium for both himself and his family plus a signed rugby ball. As a bonus, the Gwent Dragons extended an inviitation to Hugh and his family to attend a forthcoming Dragons Home clash.
