The opposition feature, amongst others, New Zealand, Canadian and English Internationals and will be a real test for the Welsh this early in the season. They have in their ranks the two most capped players of all time in ex Welsh skipper Liza Burgess and England’s Gill Burns who between them possess over 150 caps.
Phil John said “We are privileged to have such opposition here in Wales. They are effectively a female Barbarians team from across the World and it will be an indicator of where and how our off season work has left us. We need to start on a positive note and get the girls playing as they have been training.”
