High-flying Rennie is looking to put his name in the record books by launching his 450cc Honda 160 feet off a ramp inside the landmark venue on Saturday.
It was back in 1975 that Knieval crashed into the 12th of 13 double-decker buses at Wembley stadium and now Rennie aims to go even further.
“There won’t be a lot of room to move in there and we’ve even had to build the ramps up onto the first tier of the seating, so it will be a pretty steep angle take-off, but I wouldn’t go for it if I wasn’t at least 90 per cent confident that I could do it,” said Rennie.
“It’s been a long time since Evil Knieval set the record, even though he crashed, and I can’t think of a better place to break it than on home soil.
“Ever since the stadium was build four years ago I knew I wanted to jump in there, now finally that dream is about to come true.”
Meanwhile stadium officials will have just 68 hours after tonight’s Wales v Russia play-off to replace the entire Millennium Stadium pitch with 8,000 tones of dirt for Saturday’s International Supercross Championship.
“This is probably the biggest task the stadium has ever since it opened,” said stadium general manager Paul Sergeant.
“There is so little time that we will have to start pulling out the pitch before the referee has finished blowing his whistle at full-time tonight.”
