Brynithel and Llanishen will fight out the leadership in the East as Senghenydd’s match is cup-tied, while in the West, Kidwelly have the chance
to extend their lead if they defeat Penclawdd and Haverfordwest struggle at
Tenby, with Pontyberem also concerned with cup rugby.
South-East leaders Treherbert have a hard match at Nantymoel before taking
on Dowlais in the Cup on Tuesday, but second-placed Gilfach Goch are without a match.
In the South-West Maesteg Quins could sprint away from Banwen and Bryncoch if they win at Ystalyfera, as the other two are also playing in the Cup.
DIVISION FOUR.
Cardiff HSOB are just celebrating 75 years of rugby and they will be hoping
to defeat St Peters in local derby at the Diamond Ground in the East, where
leaders Bargoed travel to Tredegar Ironsides and Blain go to Crumlin.
West leaders Loughor have had their match at Tycroes called off as the home
club are unable to field a front row, leaving Llanelli Wanderers a chance of
topping as they go to Milford Haven.
Two matches fall to cup-ties in the South-East, giving Abercwmboi and
Pontyclun a sniff of the top place with matches against Cefn Coed and Old Penarthians respectively and in the South-West leaders Taibach will stay ahead even if they lose at Cwmgors.
DIVISION FIVE.
With no matches scheduled in the North, only South Wales Police against
Cilfynydd and Tonna versus Porthcawl fall to the Cup in this division.
Machen have the chance to go ahead in the East if they defeat St Alban’s and
Trinant fail to gain a win at Gwernyfed while in the West, Cefneithin take a
six-point lead to lowly Llanybydder.
Llandaff defend a two-point lead in the South-East as they entertain Ferndale at Bishop’s Field and it would be a major surprise if top dogs Resolven lost at home to Neath Athletic in the South-West.
