Nike New Zealand Youth XV to be played at Cardiff Arms Park on Friday (kick-off 7.00pm).

The President’s team were 28-7 victors last season. New skipper Richie Pugh, hooker Kieran Crawford, centre David Bishop and full back Matthew Nuthall
are the survivors from last season’s win..

Those four, plus Luke Charteris, James Malpas and James Merriman have all won caps for Wales at this level, while their there is place for the exciting Llandovery wing Ifan Evans, who played last season with Aberystwyth.

The WRU President’s Under-21 team is: Matthew Nuthall (Warriors); Ifan Evans (Llandovery), David Bishop (Warriors), Lee Thomas (Warriors), Richard Fussell (Pontypridd); Gareth McCarthy (Cardiff), Rhodri Wells (Ospreys); Cai Griffiths (Neath), Kieran Crawford (Dragons), Nathan Williams (Scarlets), Ian Evans (Pontypridd), Luke Charteris (Dragons), Richard Dale (Newport), James Malpas (Blues), Richie Pugh (Ospreys, captain).
Replacements: Scott Roberts (Pontypridd), Will Kay (Newcastle Falcons), Gavin Quinnell (Llanelli), James Merriman (Gloucester), Richie Rees (Swansea), Matthew Jones (Ospreys), Richard Payne (Newport).
