Only four matches were played as most clubs were involved in cup battles. The games played mainly concerned those clubs in the relegation zone.
However, Llangennech moved to fifth after running in 14 tries against Tondu and Glamorgan Wanderers gained their sixth win of the season as they scored three first-half tries at Tredegar. Rumney and UWIC shared 36 points at Riverside Park and Brynmawr ran in seven tries at Treorchy, where home fly half Morgan Stoddard again had a fine match.

Abercynon lost the leadership of the East after going down 19-17 at Risca and were overtaken by Merthyr and Builth Wells. The latter beat Hirwaun 28-8 with George Jenkins kicking 14 points, while Merthyr succeeded by 27-3 over Llantrisant with tries by Alyn Bevan (2), Jason Price and Gavin Roberts.
In the West, leaders Dunvant slipped up with a 11-11 draw at Felinfoel, but they are still ahead as Cwmllynfell’s match at Aberavon Quins was called off.
Corus hotted up the chase with a 20-17 win at Cwmavon and Bridgend Athletic also closed up by winning 44-12 at Birchgrove. Vardre had the win of the day, beating Newcastle Emlyn 17-8 and jumping two places off the bottom.
