Charvis resumes training
Colin Charvis is set to Captain Wales against France after resuming light training. The crocked Wales skipper missed the defeat to Ireland on Saturday after dislocating his finger against Scotland.
Charvis, who plies his trade in France with second division Tarbes, is expected to recover in time to face the French in Cardiff on March 7th.
Meanwhile, Steve Hansen has turned to the five regions to help get several players match fit ahead of that game by releasing fifteen members of his squad for this weekend’s Celtic League games.
Robert Sidoli and Robin McBryde both made their return from injury in Dublin and Hansen wants them to get more game time under their belt before facing the French. They will be joined by Ceri Sweeney, Mefin Davies and Dwayne Peel when the Celtic Warriors and Llanelli Scarlets meet this Friday night.

Double try scorer Tom Shanklin will join Jamie Robinson and Craig Morgan at Cardiff Blues against the Borders, though Blues hooker, Gareth Williams, will today undergo surgery on his shoulder and will miss the rest of the season.

Michael Owen will be available for the Dragons while Adam Jones returns to the Ospreys.
