Williams who never fully recovered from a shoulder injury picked up playing for his region before reporting for Wales duty, has an operation tomorrow (Wednesday) and he will be out of rugby for six months.

Kevin Morgan has started running today and is six weeks away from a return to rugby.

In addition, Colin Charvis has returned to light training this week, after dislocating his finger in the RBS Six Nations opener against Scotland. Wales’s influential Captain is expected to return to full training and be available for Wales’s match against France next week.

Hal Luscombe, who missed out last week due to a bruised knee, will turn out for the Dragons this weekend.

Robin McBryde, who missed the opening match of the campaign due to injury, joins Garan Evans in returning to the Scarlets. With Evans back in training but continually monitored due to a pelvic injury.
