Leaders Newport face a tough task when they travel west on Saturday to take on fifth-placed Carmarthen quins, while Neath will go to bottom-club Ebbw Vale in the hope that they regain the leadership by the end of play.

Caerphilly will be looking to stop their slide when they entertain Swansea and Cardiff hope to fly Nick Macleod and Andrew Lewis back from Scotland in time to meet Cross Keys.

Llanelli will give their young squad another runout at home to Bedwas and Aberavon meet a Pontypool side that are slipping fast down the table, while the best contest on a dry day could be at Llandovery, where third-placed Pontypridd are the visitors.
