Llandaff celebrated winning the South-East title, but also were the first club in Wales to be crowned champions this season. Now they have to play the East District Cup final against St Peter’s at Glamorgan Wanderers on Wednesday evening, after defeating Llantwit Major in the semi last week.
The ‘Troggs’ of Trinant captured the East title, while Oakdale ended their season on Saturday by defeating Usk 45-22 and gaining second place on try-count ahead of Nantyglo.
Dinbych took the North title and on Saturday, Llanidloes defeated bottom club Bangor University 47-5 and Machynlleth accounted for Bro Ffestiniog 33-10, while Welshpool beat Bangor 38-17.
Resolven took the South-West title in their first season back in the sport but slipped to their only loss, when they crashed by 18-7 at Crynant on Saturday, while Baglan jumped a place after defeating BP Llandarcy 49-16.
Crymych wrapped up the West title, leading Cefneithin by three points, but Llanybydder’s failure to play six away matches made a mess of the division.
