Captained by Kylie Wilson, the squad will look to achieve a 100% record following their 8-5 victory against the Boks last Saturday in Port Elizabeth.
Amy Day gets her second start in the number 9 shirt following her debut last week. Eirlys Lougher, Rachel Brown, Becky Davies and Hannah Szigetvari are all on the bench looking for their first caps at senior level. There is one change to the bench with Hooker Nicola John stepping up into the squad.
The game will be the last in the Welsh squad’s 16-day tour of the country. The squad of 35 players have had two weeks of intense training for the two provincial games and the two tests against the Springboks.
Head coach Phil John commented, “We have seen a marked improvement in the players during this tour. We are without 11 of our most senior players and the way the girls have performed over the last two weeks bodes well for the future of Welsh Women’s Rugby.”
Assistant Coach Alun Harries added, “We are looking forward to upping our performance on Saturday and completing a historic test series for Welsh rugby. No Welsh side has every completed a 100% test record in South Africa.”
