Tredegar bounced back with a 29-10 win over Treherbert and Abercynon had the day’s best result as they overcame Llantrisant by 30-17 at Y Parc.
In the West, Dunvant turned aside Kidwelly by 44-28 in a thriller at Broadacre and Banwen gained a solid 16-0 victory over Cwmllynfell with Craig Hughes kicking 11 points.
