However Perpignan flanker Ovidiu Tonita has been ruled out with a knee injury as Romania look for an unlikely third win over Wales in eight matches.
‘It will be good experience for us to play against a high level team,’ said technical director Robert Antonin. ‘We were impressed by Wales’ performance against South Africa and their tour in Argentina last summer.’
He added: ‘This match is very good preparation for us before we play Japan and then the main game against the Czech Republic in the European Championship in February.’
Romania’s last game was in June when they stunned Italy with a 25-24 win in Bucharest.
Among the French-based players is Biarritz prop Petru Balan who scored Romania’s first try against Wales in six years during last season’s 54-8 home win at Wrexham.
