The Wanderers beat Fleur de Lys 43-11 with full back Mark Heywood getting a try, five conversion and a penalty and other tries came from Huw Williams, Emyr Christopher, Jon Luff, Mike Butler and Jamie Henthorn. Fleur borrowed scrum half Mike Roberts from Rhymney and he scored a try with two Brett Green penalties.
Leaders Maesteg had to work hard to shake off Carmarthen Athletic with tries by Howell Davies and wing Gareth John taking them home 15-9. Austen Howells added a penalty and conversion against three Lee McKenna penalties.
Tonmawr pulled off a huge shock as they came from 2-10 to defeat Narberth 22-13 with a brace of tries by prop Lee Mason and on by wing Adrian Mainwaring. Danny Andrews kicked two conversions and a penalty while hooker Adrian Chiffi scored the Otters try and Gareth James kicked a conversion, penalty and drop goal.
Whitland crushed Bridgend Athletic 39-0 with Aled Davies getting 19 points from a try, four conversions and two penalties. Other tries were scored by Lee Glanville, Johnny Koloi, Rawhiti Williams and prop Gareth Williams.
Beddau beat Builth well 19-6 to tune up for the cup on Saturday with Brett Davey back to fitness and scoring a convewrsion, three penalties and a drop goal, while centre Rhys Jenkins, brother of Wales cap Gethin, grabbing a try. Rob Lloyd kicked two Builth goals.
