TITLE FIGHT GOES ON

And the omens are good for the Ospreys. The Dragons have won their last six matches at Rodney Parade and have only ever lost once at the venue in the Celtic League.  A home win would see them maintain their push for a top four finish and a home draw in the Celtic Cup.

Should Munster take the points in Wales the Ospreys will still be champions if they overcome Edinburgh at the Gnoll on Saturday evening. A win for the men in black will see them celebrate their title success in front of their home crowd, however Edinburgh have been in form recently winning five of their last six encounters and have won on two of their past three visits to Wales.

Friday night’s other games see Leinster face the Llanelli Scarlets in their last home game of the league campaign and they will be looking for a strong performance ahead of their Heineken Cup quarter final the following week.
They are also still challenging Munster for the No.1 Irish seeding in Europe next season.

Ulster meet the Borders in Belfast knowing that at least a draw will take them ahead of Connacht in the battle to finish third Irish side, and a win over the lowly Borders will also serve them well in their battle to reach the cut off point for the Celtic Cup.

The final game sees Glasgow face Cardiff Blues. Both sides have been struggling recently but with the Blues still harbouring a very slim chance of making an automatic Heineken Cup place next season they will have the incentive to inflict a seventh loss in the last eight games on the Glaswegians.
