The Ospreys ended Ulster’s hopes of topping the Celtic League before the International break with a 20-12 win at Ravenhill. Jason Spice scored the only try of the game, while Shaun Connor kicked 15 points to lift the Ospreys up to seventh place.

With Ulster losing Edinburgh were able to move into second place with a fine bonus point away win over Leinster.  Alasdair Strokosch scored the final try in the closing minutes to secure the 27-13  vivtory.

The Gunners are just four points behind Munster, who scored an 18-16 win at Cardiff Arms Park over the Blues. The league leaders had led 18-9 before a late Marc Stcherbina try had secured a bonus point for the Blues.

In Glasgow Colin Gregor kicked 20 points as the Warriors put basement side Connacht to the sword with a 30-15 victory.

In the round’s final game The Dragons lead 13-0 after half an hour but were pushed all the way by Border Reivers who only just fell short as the Welsh side eventually ran out 20-16 winners.
