CELTIC LEAGUE RETURNS
The Irish side will be looking to increase their impressive home record – with only one defeat in their last 24 games at home. The Dragons have won away from home in the Celtic League once in the last year so the omens point towards Munster staying top of the table for the Six Nations break.
However should they slip up Edinburgh Gunners will be looking to capitalise, and a convincing win at Cardiff Blues on Friday night could see them go top for at least 24 hours.
Third place Leinster face the Border Reivers also on Friday and could go above the Scottish capital side if the Blues can stop a four game losing streak by beating the Gunners. Either Ulster or Llanelli Scarlets, who meet at Ravenhill on Friday night, could also move above Edinburgh if the Scots leave Cardiff without a point.
Friday’s fourth game sees Glasgow Warriors, buoyed by their big win in the Heineken Cup last weekend, entertain Ospreys with both sides looking to make up ground in the table before the Six Nations break.
