PONTY PARTNER WALES WOMEN
Wales Women will now have a true home advantage as they face Scotland, Spain and France at Sardis Road, a ground that they hope to make a fortress. The fixtures take place on the Friday evenings prior to the equivalent men’s games (Spain corresponding with Italy).
WWRU Manager, Jilly Holroyd, reflects the importance of the arrangement “The power of home advantage can never be underestimated, particularly when it is combined with the strength of a passionate Welsh support. We hope that rugby fans from throughout the Valleys area will embrace international women’s rugby and come along to support us.”
Tickets are available on the gate costing just £5 for adults, with U18s going free.
Wales kick off their Six Nations campaign away to England on 4th February, before hosting Scotland on 10th February and visiting Ireland on 25th February. They round up the competition with two home games against Spain (10th March) and France (17th March).
