Jauzion out of Wales test

04.02.23 - Wales v Ireland - Guinness Six Nations - Prematch pyrotechnics at Principality Stadium

The centre sustained the injury in January, and was initially only expected to miss the opening two games of the RBS Six Nations. However his injury has responded slowly and now Jauzion has been forced to accept he will play no part in this year’s competition.

This means he will not travel to Cardiff for what could be a championship decider in Round Five. The news will be a bitter blow to France Coach Bernard Laporte. Laporte was desperate to bring back Jauzion after seeing his side lose 20-16 to Scotland in the opening round of fixtures and capitulate in the second half against Ireland in Paris two weeks ago.

Wales play France in Round Five of the 2006 RBS Six Nations at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday, 18 March. (KO 1530hrs).
