REEBOK REGIONAL PREVIEW
Four wins in five games and a bonus point to boot, has left the Gwent region within touching distance of a place in the final – against runaway leaders the Ospreys, but to achieve that aim, they will have to see off their closest rivals, Blues South, in tonight’s match of the day at Bedwas RFC (7pm).
The Blues South are currently sitting in third place – having played a game more – some four points behind the Dragons. Victory for them would change things dramatically whilst making life far more difficult for the Dragons.
No.8 Craig Filier will lead the Dragons tonight as they go in search of a fifth win in six games.
The other game sees the Blues North, who are fourth with 12 points, take on the Scarlets who are rock bottom with only three points from their half dozen matches. That game has been switched from Aberdare to Ynysybwl.
Another win for the North would keep them in the hunt providing the South defeat the Dragons.
