Narberth remain dangerously close to the drop zone after losing out 26-20 to Llangennech despite leading at half time. Tries from Emori Kalalau and Matthew Davies converted by Tom Lewis gave Narberth a 7-14 lead at the break, but the visitors failed to capitalise and a second half brace from Llangennech winger Wayne Price helped seal the victory for the hosts.
Fleur De Lys will also rue letting a half time lead slip after they lost 37-29 to Caerphilly at Virginia Park. Flower were 20-26 ahead at the interval but lost two players to the sin bin after the break and struggled to compete with the dominant Cheesemen.
A Gareth Dyer hat-trick helped Llanharan to a crushing 31-8 victory over visiting Waunarlwydd who remain in trouble at the wrong end of the table. Flanker Justin Jones crossed twice and scrum half Greg Jones kicked three conversions as Llanharan emerged victorious despite losing two men to the sin bin.
Beddau kept up the pressure on league leaders Bonymaen with a 12-24 away win at Cwmllynfell. Outside half Nathan Walters, winger Daniel Wyatt, replacement flanker Steven Cole and scrum half Tom Slater each crossed for the valleys side with centre Steve Robinson adding two conversions.
Blackwood notched a surprise 41-21 victory over third-placed Newbridge with a six-try display to stun their visitors. Full back Rob Smith bagged a brace and there were scores for winger Kristian Ferry, scrum half and captain Gavin Rees, prop Jason Rogers and winger David James. Jeremy Lloyd was on kicking duty with four conversions and a penalty.
UWIC lost for the third time in as many outings as they were out-played by Merthyr who ran-in six tries to UWIC’s two. Simon Parry bagged a brace for the Ironmen and Neil Burnett kicked five conversions to seal the victory.
