Thomas knows that this New Zealand side has humbled all teams in their mini European tour this November, and he now has his sights set on the biggest prize in World Rugby.
“It’s another twelve months to the Rugby World Cup and we are in a process of building a side,” he continued. “It has been a positive campaign for the squad’s point of view and I have been pleased to get a run of games in the starting XV.”
“There is a lot to look forward to and you have to remember that it’s not just Wales that New Zealand have done this to, but England, France and the Tri-Nations teams.
“The one thing we need to learn from them is that it’s not just the back row that get involved in the contact area, but the whole team. It goes back to the intensity of the Super 14, they all have the same attitude and mind set.”
