Jones back for Munster match
Jones fractured a bone in his wrist in training during the 2007 RBS Six Nations and missed the final game against England. He has recovered in time to join Wales and Lions half back partner Dwayne Peel for a game which will see them pitched against their Irish rivals Peter Stringer and Ronan O’Gara.
Vernon Cooper and Scott MacLeod have won the battle for the second row berths ahead of Inoke Afeaki and Adam Jones and every player in the Scarlets line-up has international experience.
It will be the first time the two teams have met in the Heineken Cup. The Scarlets won all six Pool matches while the only blemish in Munster’s qualification was a sixth round defeat at Thomond Park to fellow quarter-finalists Leicester Tigers.
