Code of Conduct Charge – Skewen RFC
The club has been fined £500, suspended for 12 months, following verbal abuse of referee David Williams in the home game against Mumbles on March 24th. The fine will become payable if, during the next 12 months, the club’s players, officials or fans are guilty of further code of conduct breaches which are found to be proven. Furthermore, the club must introduce immediate measures to ensure spectators and Club officials adhere to the published Codes of Conduct and such reminders should periodically feature in the match programme.
Code of Conduct Charge – David Jayne (Brynithel RFC)
Brynithel RFC official David Jayne has been banned from entering the playing enclosure during matches (home and away) for a period of 12 months following verbal abuse aimed at referee Andrew Winstone during a game on March 25th. In addition, Brynithel RFC has been fined £500, of which £250 is payable to the Union within the next 28 days. The remaining £250 is suspended for a period of 12 months, but will become immediately payable to the Union if any further Code of Conduct cases involving the Club are found to be proven in that time.
