Trinant’s third win of the season keeps alive their survival hopes as second from bottom Talywain lost 46-22 at Nantyglo. John Goode, Kristian Knapp and Tom Watkins all scored twice for fourth placed Nantyglo with centre Knapp adding a penalty and three conversions.
League leaders Garndiffaith kept their title bid on track with a 5-62 win at Llandaff North but second placed Old Illtydians look set to fight all the way defeating Tredegar Ironsides 45-24.
