Fullback Daniel Morris crossed four times as Tredegar powered to a 43-17 victory over Ynysybwl. There were further tries for winger Chris Thew, No.8 John Evans and flanker Joe Campbell. Outside half Gareth Kearney slotted three conversions and centre Shaun Thomas added one.

Carl Hughes and Mark Bennett both scored as Mountain Ash notched a 20-0 win over visiting Nantymoel. Brothers Paul and Clive Moore shared kicking duties with fly half Paul slotting two conversions and fullback Clive converting two penalties. Meanwhile, Gareth Hassell ran-in a try as Pill Harriers boosted their survival hopes with a 12-20 win at Abergavenny.

Penallta took the Division Three title in style with an emphatic 10-92 win at third from bottom Pontllanfraith, while Scrum half Dale Parry was the hat-trick hero as third placed Pontypool Utd won 55-0 at Senghenydd.

Carl Moore kicked a last-gasp conversion as Cwmbran stole a late win over second placed Newport HSOB and outside half Nicky Strange scored a brace and slotted a penalty and three conversions as Blaina saw off Brynithel 34-19.

Prop Lyn Williams bagged a try on his debut as Rhymney won 20-29 over close rivals New Tredegar.

James Leadbittier kicked Trinant to a valuable 10-12 win away at fellow strugglers Crumlin in Division Four. Trinant’s third win of the season keeps alive their survival hopes as second from bottom Talywain lost 46-22 at Nantyglo. John Goode, Kristian Knapp and Tom Watkins all scored twice for fourth placed Nantyglo with centre Knapp adding a penalty and three conversions.

League leaders Garndiffaith kept their title bid on track with a 5-62 win at Llandaff North but second placed Old Illtydians look set to fight all the way defeating Tredegar Ironsides 45-24.

Darren Miles bagged a brace and slotted six conversions for a 22-point haul as Abertillery BG notched a 57-0 whitewash over Oakdale in Division Five. Fullback Miles has now scored a club record 401 points in 26 games for the league leaders who look set for Division Four rugby next term.

Second placed Gwernyfed kept the pressure on with a 101-3 hammering of Oakdale while Blaenavon condemned RTB Ebbw Vale to an eighteenth defeat of the season, 7-41.
