Get in the swing to help injured players
Welsh internationals will star in the Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust’s 35th anniversary golf day at the Vale of Glamorgan Golf Club on Tuesday July 3rd.
Over the past 35 years the Trust has raised, and spent, more than £2.6m on supporting 200+ players who have received serious injuries playing the game they love.
The Trust is currently helping 27 players, among them the most recent broken neck victim Bryan Davies, of Bala, and spends a seven figure sum each year.
Top prize for Tuesday’s golf day – a limited number of places are still available for teams of four costing £350 for golf and a post-event dinner – is a SEAT car for a hole in one.
Later in the year, on November 9th, former Bath, England and British Lions prop Gareth Chilcott will be the star attraction at a Gala Dinner to be staged at Cardiff’s Holland House Hotel.
Tables of 10 are being sold at £450 and once again there will be a large number of Welsh internationals present.
