This week in the Rbk Welsh Rugby Union podcast there is a look back at the Prince William Cup match between Wales and South Africa, along with a look forward to the new era about to begin in Wales under new Head Coach Warren Gatland. There is a flavour of the pre-match entertainment at the Millennium Stadium, we hear from Gavin Henson, Colin Charvis, Mark Jones and Wales Caretaker Coach Nigel Davies.
The Wales Sevens team are in Dubai, being watched by Gatland, as they start their first IRB World Sevens circuit as core members with Coach Dai Rees aiming high. Wales legend and WRU Board Member Gerald Davies discusses his new challenge as Team Manager of the 2009 British & Irish Lions and there is a special feature as the Welsh Rugby Union launches a second scheme in Dragons region to help prevent crime and anti-social behaviour. Following the success of a pilot scheme with youngsters in Caerphilly last spring, which provided rugby skills and activities in a bid to address issues of social exclusion and prevent crime, the second project of its kind has now been launched, this time in Blaenau Gwent, and the Rbk WRU Podcast went to Nantyglo to watch it in action.
