In Division Four West league leaders Hendy were edged out 24-20 by bottom side Birchgrove as the visitors secured only their third win of the season. Morriston ran in five tries without reply to ease past Pembroke 34-9 to overtake Hendy at the top of the division. Llandelilo failed to take advantage of Hendy’s defeat after they slipped to a 13-16 home defeat to lowly Tycroes.
Burry Port won the battle of the top two in Division Five West with a bonus-point 29-5 win against Cefneithen.
