The 32 year old, front row forward from Hornchurch in England joined Ebbw Vale in 2001 and currently plays his fifth season with the Newport Gwent Dragons. In 2007, Adam became the first player to gain 100 caps for the Newport Gwent Dragons.
On achieving his league milestone, he commented: “This is a huge honour for me, my family and everyone at the Dragons who have supported me throughout my time in Wales. My desire to continue playing for the Dragons is huge, as it was five years ago when I arrived under the leadership of Mike Ruddock.”
He added: “I’ve experienced highs and lows here in front of our loyal fans and I’m looking forward to more highs with the region as it moves into a new era. I’m sure that we can create something special at Rodney Parade in the foreseeable future.”
Dragons Head Coach Paul Turner, who signed Adam at Bedford from London Wasps in 1999, was full of praise for the loose head prop. He added: “It’s a great achievement for Adam and for the Dragons. Adam is a player who has progressed, as the league has evolved, and has been one of the cornerstones of Dragons activity over the past five years.”
Richard Barnes, Brand Manager Wm. Magner commented: “I would like to congratulate Adam on this milestone. As a front row forward this achievement is particularly commendable and is a real testament to Adam’s professionalism and dedication to the Dragons’ cause.
“I would like to wish Adam and the rest of the Dragons the best of luck for their remaining Magners League fixtures this season.”
