Following earlier confirmation that No.8 Alix Popham, centre Matthew Watkins and scrum half Dwayne Peel are departing, tighthead props Bruce Douglas and Ben Broster along with hooker James Hayter and second row Adam Eustace will not be returning next season.
Furthermore, Gallacher dispelled fans’ fears that some senior Scarlets were looking to move on.
He commented: “There has been recent speculation by the media that key players Simon Easterby, Regan King and Stephen Jones are unsettled at the Scarlets. All three are fully committed to the Scarlets. In Simon’s case until 2010 and Regan and Stephen are signed up until 2011.”
