The Wales U20’s squad gives talented players an opportunity to develop their skills both on and off the pitch to become International rugby players. They will have the chance to sample being part of an International environment with support and guidance from staff within the WRU.
These players hopefully will become future senior internationals and have the honour of representing Wales in competitions such as the Six Nations and ultimately the World Cup.
To be eligible to trial for Wales U20’s players must be:
– Eligible to play for Wales
– Over 17 years old and under 20 years old on or before 31st August/ 1st September 2008
All players need to complete a registration form and send it back to Sophie Bennett at: Wales Indoor Training Barn, Vale Hotel, Hensol, Vale of Glamorgan CF72 8JY no later than Wednesday 1st October 2008. All players will need to bring their own lunch, drinks, training and playing rugby kit including any protective clothing.Â
