In the backs, the talented Charlie Johnson makes a welcome return after suffering a pre season injury. He plays on the wing instead of James Loxton who reverts to his normal position of full back.

Robin Locke, after scoring on his debut against Pontypool as a sub, starts at centre and he partners Gareth Morris. In the pack Richard Hodges introduces a complete change in the back-row.

Nio Aiono starts at blindside, Lee Highgate plays at 7 and Alistair McDonald starts at number 8 after some impressive performances in the Canterbury league. Tom Evans also gets his first start in the second row.
