However, coaches Dale McIntosh and Lee Jarvis know they will have their work cut out against a Gogledd Cymru side who are fresh from beating the Scarlets at Llandovery.
That victory followed on from an outstanding performance – albeit a losing one – against Blues South and a deserved home win against the Dragons.
A third victory of the season will not be enough to earn them the opportunity of joining one of the other regional sides in the final, but it would provide further confirmation of the growth of age grade rugby in the north.
