The 25-year-old Dragons lock, who won his ninth Welsh cap against New Zealand in the Inveso Perpetual Series last month, has brought a considerable 6 feet 9 inches to the Dragons line-out and is set to make his 89th appearance against Toulouse this weekend.Â
Chartersis has had an impressive season so far and is thrilled to remain at Rodney Parade.
“It’s been a good season for the Dragons and I believe that we’ve started to show signs that the team is moving in the right direction. I was delighted to sign for another three years and am confident that there will be good times ahead,” said Charteris
Newport Gwent Dragons Head Coach Paul Turner is delighted that the lanky lock has put his faith in the region for a further three seasons.
“Luke been consistently good for the region and continues to impress in the boiler house of the second row. He’s a great line-out weapon with huge potential and we’re thrilled to have him here for a further three years,” said Paul.
