The Cardiff Blues, who have won three of their last four matches in all competitions, take on an Ospreys side who have also won three of their last four games in all competitions this New Year’s Eve, 2.05pm kick off.
The Blues will be looking to move up the Magners League table having recorded a 21-19 victory over the Dragons on Boxing Day, and can take confidence from the fact that the last six meetings between these two teams in the Magners League have all been won by the home side.
Speaking ahead of the game David Young said, “Out of the away games we have lost this season, I felt that the Ospreys were the only ones that have well beaten us. Both teams have got better as the season has progressed so it will be interesting to see how much we’ve developed.”
“The Ospreys are a quality outfit and we will have to be at our best to get the points. We know what they will bring to the party, and both teams will not only be looking to pick up points in the Magners League, but I imagine they will also building towards the Heineken Cup matches in January, ” added Young.
